I guess it's a tad hot in the kitchen...

Interesting that some of the "liberal-minded" bloggers, who seem to be the most distressed by Bush's re-election, such as WiseFawn & dabe, are blogging away while blocking all comments (in the case of dabe, after I had posted one) and some (blogic) have just disappeared.

Just an observation. I know it's their privilege to do that, but I find it instructive.

Very instructive, indeed.

I had just answered that impeachment lunacy also, then my reply dissapeared. Pretty weak, (as was the basis for that petition)

*laugh*

Yeah, the day after the election, I posted an article and deleted every comment I didn't like. It was my "sulk" day. But generally, I like a spirited debate on my threads, so that policy was in effect for Nov. 3 only, so if you need to go beat up a liberal, head over to my blog (besides, I am a points whore).

Of course, I find your comments to be pretty insightful, Daiwa, so I don't see my self deleting you at all.

Myrrander -

Looks like I've managed fool at least one of you.

A little sulking never hurt anyone. Purges some bad humors, I suppose.

I just don't see the value of closing off discussion. Hard to learn anything that way.

As for the ones that disappeared, I cant blame them. They need time to heal. But the deleting of the comments just shows a closed mind, and the inability to learn from their mistakes. So they will probably be sulking in another 4 years as well.
