How frickin' stupid do Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, Rahm Emanuel and Hilldog think we are?  Apparently pretty frickin' stupid.

I despair for our despotic future with "leaders" like these.  More like snakes than leaders.  I's regusted, I tell ya.

I like to think that my subscription cancelation last year played a small part.

Of course, they're blaming it on 'the internet' rather than the biased, agenda-driven crap they publish under the rubric of 'news'.

Yet another "LAST STRAW".  

Just wanted to beat Gene to the punch. Couldn't resist.

I can't seem to get solid image GroupBox background images to display properly in XP. They display correctly in SKS but are filled with the button face color in apps when applied. I can use a transparent image with just a border only (transparent center) to get the border I want, but when I fill it with an image, the image only displays in the top 6-7 pixels of the box with the rest solid button face color.

Is this a "limitation" or am I missing something?

I am using a .tga image for the system buttons in a skin I'm working on, imported from a .png with alpha-trans. Only the four corner pixels are transparent. The image attributes are set correctly as best I can tell - transparency & translucency are both enabled. However, on the Logoff & Shutdown dialogs the corner pixels are not transparent against the screen mask background:

I have an idea for a free-form button animation I'd like to do, but I only want one of the states (mouseover) to be animated. I've reviewed the UIS2 skinning tutorial section on animated buttons, but it is more vague than I'd like.

How do you construct the source image?

If the animation has say 4 frames, would each button state require 4 tiles? Arrayed left-to-right, start-to-finish?

Does Animation/Frame Count refer to the total number of tiles in the image or just the number of tiles...

I have three skins that I've worked on for a year or more that I plan to upload when complete. Therein lies the problem. I am reasonably skilled at basic skinning, but I don't have the tools or knowledge to do Animations or Toolbar Icons.

If a fellow skinner out there would be willing to develop those skin elements & share credit for the skins, I'd be very grateful. I have a couple of ideas about what would 'fit' but no way to implement them.

I'm having a heckuva time getting transparency to work consistently with non-perpixel borders lately. Used to be that magic pink worked fine but I happened to modify one of my skins a month or so ago to use magic pink & the magic pink would display, not the transparent bits. Is there a way to skin the text in this secondary menu?

I just did some perpixel backgrounds for a skin I'm working on and when the skin is applied the background of the Logoff Buttons in the non-domain Logoff Dialog is wrong & looks like this:

Even though the buttons are using magic pink for transparency (& even if I do a .tga image), the area that should be transparent is displaying what appears to be a portion of the Tabs Page image. The Shutdown Dialog Buttons, using either .bmp with magic pink or .tga with alpha, display properly...

Can this icon be changed by WB? If yes, how?
