OK to call US Citizens 'Terrorists'
Published on April 14, 2009 By Daiwa In Politics

You may recall the flap just last month when Napolitano said this:

"In my speech, although I did not use the word “terrorism,” I referred to “man-caused” disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur."

Well.  The same does not appear to apply when discussing our own citizens.  This, from the just-released memo from DHS to police departments around the country warning them of the potential for a rise of 'right-wing' extremism:

"the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks."

This marks the first overt sign of the re-making of the DHS into the DDS - Department of Domestic Security - focused not on real domestic violence issues such as gang warfare, the reality of which we can see 5 nights a week on the History Channel no less and with which we could use some real help, but on fears of the left's fevered imagination, nevermind her stated intent to 'move away from the politics of fear.'  I guess that was just code for her intention to move away from our fears to her fears.

Why DHS is focusing on this, properly the FBI's job, rather than protecting our borders and us from foreign terrorists man-caused-disaster-makers is beyond me, but totally consistent with the mindset of the control freaks BO has chosen for his administration.  Janet was uninterested in protecting our state's border when she was governor and appears to have less interest in protecting the nation's borders even now that that's her job.

The hypocrisy and intellectual blindness here is breathtaking.  And it should be worrisome to all of us.

So we can't label islamic extremists, but Obama has no problem doing it to the "right wing"?  People need to start waking up.

I just saw something a few months back stating that right wing militia groups where declining significantly over the years. The real criminals get a pass, especially if they are illegal Hispanics. Can't punish the voter base.

Can't punish the voter base.

True, true.  Heaven forbid.

I am so sick of people doing and saying stupid shit.

If I had the capital, I'd start my own island nation.

been tried before, a bunch of times... the neighboring country always sends the military over to take them over saying it is a tax shelter... that is because only RICH people can afford to start their own island nation, and their previous nation LIKES having them pay hefty taxes.

Heck that is pretty much how the US independance war went about, britain tried to tax, they said no, troops sent over, but they lost.

It was even tried with a massive ex oil derrik, and there are groups out there trying to develop independant oceanfaring nations... You simply cannot succeed that way, you MUST think of your military power FIRST and how to win the inevitable military invasion.

she simply hates america, she really does, to the point where she doesn't even BOTHER making beleivable slanders, she just makes them on the spot and anything that pops into her head comes out of her mouth. She has no room being anywhere in politics.

I never quite understood why she was so popular a governor here, a state that practically reveres Joe Arpaio as a god.  We apparently wanted a sheriff willing to enforce the law but a governor who wasn't - some sort of weird check & balance psychology, I guess.
