How pathetic.  They have no shame.  None, whatsoever.

I heard about this.  Hopefully he'll get some support in this.  The stimulus was a bust.

I would never run my household like they are trying to run this country.  It's like they can't spend enough.   If it doesn't work in the small arena, how can it be expected to work in the large one?

The 'four-secretary-press' was too much for even our daily newspaper*, dem propaganda organ that it is.  Editorial today telling the administration they could shove the intimidation.  They're like the infatuated girlfriend who thinks a guy can do no wrong until he turns around one day and knocks her to the ground with a backhand for saying hello to some other guy.  Not so infatuated anymore, though I doubt the current anger at the administration will last long - the rags are also like many abuse victims who can't seem to leave their abusers.

The poll numbers are sinking and I think the press is picking up on it. When they smell blood in the water they will revert to their normal shark mode. They did the same thing with Mr. Carter. Once that happens all the stuff they have overlooked will suddenly be discovered and become news. Because the press mindset is to build people up to take them down. His race makes them hold back some but when the people back off their support the press will attack.

The tipping point will be when the president overreaches or gets very heavy handed. Support will fade like a house of cards in a hurricane. The white house already is going into defensive mode trying to push through everything they can before the people turn on them. Hence the rush to get health care passed.

Here in Japan, I've been watching CNN, since there isn't much English programing and frankly I'm amazed how radically left that agencies foreign outlet is.

4 days of Obama in Africa, pointing out that no other US president in history has spoke and inspired Africa as Obama has.

Sotomeyers conformation - with Republicans playing the villain. asking her "over and over" (their words) about the wise Latina comment.

Today - How Obama has finally accepted responsibility for the Mexican drug cartels, by selling weapons (no references, no proof, hell I can buy what the cartels are using from a sporting goods store, were the heck are they getting them, the army perhaps). The only mention of Republicans was that they deny the US has any responsibility (again, not one name mentioned, no source).

The ever popular Palin must be crazy pieces.

The Bush Legacy - The nasty CIA secret programs that Dick Chenney hid from congress. No mention of Pelosi's CIA stunt.

Only a small, 2 second blurb about the national debt busting 1 Trillion. Plenty about healthcare (not the costs though).

And for the big anti-Obama spot... how his jeans looked like "Mom Jeans" when he throw out the baseball.

It's no wonder why the world was anti-Bush. What ever you see on CNN in the states is 10x worse here abroad. I'd be convinced too that Obama is the savior, his only flaw being his pants. This game is rigged folks, on a much larger scale than you think.

This is the whole point.  It really doesn't matter what we think of OUR U.S. President anymore.  It matters what the world thinks now.  He didn't run for us.  He ran for the rest of the world and they are welcoming him with open arms.

Lived in Japan for 4 years, if you really need an american fix see if you can get AFRTS, sometimes I could get the military broadcasts at night. Best if you have a short wave radio.

The weapons are coming from the army, the Mecican army.

True but can we get them to keep him?
