All I can say is he came up with this in a wet dream.

I laughed my ass off at this juicy little attempt by MSNBC to be 'fair & balanced.' This woman actually came at this from the perspective that Palin has a problem with Letterman , and she wanted to know why.  From a guy, no less, who had interviewed Palin. Was this lady an extra in Clueless?  Is that the resume jewel that the talent-spotters at MSNBC picked up on?  I thought about posting this in the humor section, then decided it was more sad than funny. If you ha...

Amazing. BO has the brass to say the 'the reason' we're so far in debt, and in fact 'out of money', is the lack of healthcare reform.  Of course, healthcare has virtually nothing to do with the debt he himself has created, but, hey, I've never been a Harvard grad law professor.

Lead story on HuffPo today.  BIG BOLD RED CAPS - they're shocked, I tell you, shocked. Apparently, someone was taking notes when Robert Reich said stimulus money shouldn't go to help southern white construction workers.

BO, circa February 2009: "You can't get corporate jets, you can't go take a trip to Las Vegas or go down to the Super Bowl on the taxpayer's dime."

The article speaks, eloquently, for itself. Enjoy.

Saw this little clip again recently for some reason & noticed something I'd not picked up on before.  It's the famous Henrietta Hughes plea to Obama for help during the campaign.  You'll recognize it. But pay attention when BO walks over to Hughes to give her a hug at about 40 seconds into the clip & watch the lady to the left of BO as the crowd stands up to applaud. Nauseating, actually.  I'm afraid there are far too many whose judgment is clouded by such infatuatio...

I was incensed listening to Michael Savage's radio show last night.  I catch portions of it a couple of nights a week while in my car, occasionally listen for an hour or two depending on the subject matter and find him interesting and entertaining even when I disagree with his point of view.  Most of the time.  What I heard last night, however, motivated me to write an email to Dr. Savage.  Then I couldn't locate an email address to which to send it - there was no email link ...

Steyn's take at the time appears to have been spot on.

You may recall the flap just last month when Napolitano said this: "In my speech, although I did not use the word “terrorism,” I referred to “man-caused” disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur." Well.  The same does not appear to apply when discussing our own citizens.  This, from the just-released memo from DHS to police ...

Despite having abundant material from the comedy team of BO & Biden, Slate finds it necessary, even now, two months after the Texas village was reunited with its idiot, to continue their Bushism of the Day schtik. But I'm sure there's no bias involved.

After savaging McCain in the campaign over McCain's plan to trade a tax credit for taxes on healthcare benefits, to move the buying decision from the employer to the employee, calling it 'the largest middle class tax increase in history,' BO has decided to let Congress know that, 'Hey, I opposed this idea, but if you guys wanna do it, what can I do to stop you?'

It's been the dirty little secret of Congress forever (that nobody ever reads the shit they vote for) but now they can't begin to pretend.  Not one Congressman or Senator will be able to say with a straight face that they understand what they will be voting for today.  Everyone one of them should be impeached for failing to fulfill their fiduciary (& every other) duty to the people.  I fear that nothing short of armed revolt is going to change these nutjobs.

I'm not a particular fan of the American Medical Association.  In my view, it is too enmeshed with currying favor with the federal government (also known as partnering) to be an effective advocate for either patients or physicians.  But occasionally the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) publishes some worthwhile reading.  The latest issue has a commentary about the collision of scientific principles with interest-group advocacy politics and an editorial about ...
